NO MAGIC

No Magic

Generally speaking,

there are no immediate results nor remedies in a language-learning.

A language-learning is like a sport or cooking.

You are getting better day by day whilst practicing it and you are evolving in process.

It rests on how much you speak and write regularly.

Many language learners quit learning a language since they do not see any progress.

 Or they get bored.

They get bored

since they do not make progress in a language learning (hatch and egg circumstance),

or the process is boring.

Sometimes, they are discouraged and feel that they are failure.

Where does this come from?

Learning a language is a transformation of yourself rather than simply acquiring knowledge.

In doing so, reading and listening, what I call, a language input, are not sufficient for a language-learning.

You need to transform yourself whilst speaking and writing.

This will establish a foundation for your transformation.

It is important not to expect immediate results aligned with correct knowledge about the nature of a language-learning process.

Who can be a good cook or a good athlete within a month?

For sure,

if you already know how to cook an Italian food well,

you may learn quickly how to prepare foreign cuisine

that you are learning

since you know the principles of cooking.

This can apply to a language-learning, too.

If you have already mastered a foreign language, you are likely to pick up a third language and a fourth language quickly

because you know how to open yourself to a new language and necessary principles.

If you are a language-learning beginner,

 remember that

there are no immediate results but once you go through it,

you can learn as many languages as you can.
