BE ILLOGICAL
Be Illogical
Questioning is not that important in a language-learning.
We are so used to asking why when we learn something new.
A language-learning is how, not why.
It is not so useful to think about why.
For example,
whey there is a word: kitten when a kitten is a small cat?
Why the
past tense of go is went when normally with other regular verbs, all you need
to do is add ‘ed’ after a verb?
Yes, there are rationale to answer to those questions.
However, even if you know why,
that does not make it better for you to speak a language.
There is no direct link to get your speech better.
What is important here is to know
how to speak a language,
not to know why it is so.
Normally, people who ask why, ask why
because a new language does not follow the same pattern as your mother tongue.
You can know why for your knowledge,
but it has little to do with a language-learning.
